Francy Freixas was born and raised in Miami, FL but has traveled and lived abroad for work. Developing her craft in the fashion and production realm for the past 10 years she has honed a unique skill set and editorial eye. She studied at the Miami International University of Art & Design and the South Florida Art Center with a focus on Fashion and Jewelry Design.
Although her work is mostly focused on consulting and styling for commercial productions she also experiments in fine arts. Describing more current personal works as “a series exploring signals from precognitive dreams and premonitions.” The Lavandula Series was most recently shown at a Viophilia Group Exhibition on March 8th, 2014.
Coming from a family with strong roots in both collecting and dealing antiquities and Cuban arts she was naturally drawn to the world of collecting. Through out her life, Francy has acquired an eclectic collection art, fashion, jewelry and props which she uses in her works and extends to others through her company, The Sirens Den. She has published works with Factice Magazine, Where Magazine and The Miami New Times.
